About me

One engineer who owns it end to end

I'm Umer, a software engineer and technical lead based in Lahore. I started in 2010 writing PHP and ColdFusion, integrating payment gateways and social APIs, and moved step by step into team leadership, system architecture and product delivery.

Today most of my work sits where AI meets real business software: AI agents that use tools and run multi-step workflows, RAG systems that answer questions from a company's own documents, and SaaS platforms with AI built into the core. Around that I bring the full stack (Laravel, Node.js, NestJS, Python and FastAPI on the backend, React and Next.js on the web, Flutter and React Native on mobile, PostgreSQL, MySQL and Firebase for data, on AWS, GCP and Azure) and the delivery discipline to get it live.

You work with one person who takes ownership: requirements, architecture, UI, backend, AI integration, deployment, and the team needed to deliver it. I also run Pixel Edge Solutions, a software studio for larger builds.
